Kushal has been Bartending for 7 years, Flair Bartending for 3 years and currently works at Zen Lounge in Mountain View, CA.
After arriving in the United States from Nepal in 2003, Kushal started working at Avalon nightclub in Santa Clara. After watching other local flairtenders he started tossing a lime juice bottle around the bar and suddenly realized that he had an audience.
With no second or third move in his repertoire, the show was short. But he was hooked and he dedicated himself to learning each and every move he could discover.
Practicing daily for competitions and shows, every spare moment away from work and school is relegated to his new-found passion.
Rejoining SFSOB’s teaching staff after competing heavily for the last few months, Kushal will be bringing tremendous energy and enthusiasm to our flair program.
Kushal currently produces shows and competitions around the Bay Area with the goal of promoting the industry and improving competitor’s showmanship, confidence, and flair skills.
